About this project

This is a living advocacy and information project supporting Benita Pedersen through an active Alberta Human Rights Tribunal proceeding.
Owner and editor
Kevin currently owns and edits the site and its posts. Contributor and multi-editor roles may be added later.
Editorial position
The site supports Benita and the freedom to debate controversial public questions. Its own editorial voice will not argue against that mission.
Wide source collection
Official records, defence materials, supportive coverage and differing perspectives are linked so readers can review the public conversation for themselves.
Not official
This project is not affiliated with the Alberta Human Rights Commission, the Tribunal, the complainant, the respondent or counsel.
Corrections
Material changes are dated and logged. Spelling, punctuation and broken-link fixes may be made without a separate public note.
Editorial and privacy boundaries
- Spell Benita Pedersen correctly, even when a linked publisher uses another spelling.
- Attribute allegations, legal positions, disputed testimony and commentary to their sources.
- Do not present a complaint, referral or party statement as a Tribunal finding.
- Original flyer files remain private. Public derivatives must permanently remove phone numbers, email addresses and direct contact information for municipal office-holders.
- Publicly supplied portraits and public interview stills may be used for project promotion. Third-party logos and images remain attributed to their original publishers.
- Generated illustrations must not imitate official seals or imply that they are documentary evidence.
- Criticism should address ideas, laws, institutions and public conduct without demeaning people.
Working title: “Benita Pedersen Tribunal Information Project.” The site can later move to a purchased domain or a domain/subdomain supplied by Benita without changing the project’s source archive.

A dedicated project email address and newsletter service will be added before the public launch. Until then, the site remains under Kevin’s sole ownership and editorial control.
